DevOps Engineer

LocumTenens.com is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support its mission to deliver software quickly, reliably, and securely. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Terraform, PowerShell, Python, and Bash scripting, as well as experience integrating and using DataDog for monitoring and Veracode for code scanning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2–4 years' hands-on experience in DevOps or Build and Release Engineering roles
• Strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) including YAML-based pipelines, release definitions, and branch policies
• Proficiency with Terraform, PowerShell, Python, and Bash/shell scripting
• Experience integrating and using DataDog for monitoring and Veracode (or similar SAST tools) for code scanning
• Familiarity with source control strategies (e.g., GitFlow, trunk-based development) and pull request workflows
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts, infrastructure automation, and environment management
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous learning
