Refrigeration Technician

A full-time Refrigeration Technician is needed for a site operation at a facility in Apopka, Florida. This role involves operating and troubleshooting ammonia refrigeration systems, maintaining facility equipment, and providing preventative/corrective maintenance. The technician will work various schedules, including overtime, and must be able to lift and work in challenging environments.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma/GED equivalency.
• Minimum of 5 years industrial ammonia refrigeration experience in operating and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Ability to work on elevated surfaces and in extreme temperatures and noise levels.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand instructions.
• Required to work holidays and facility shutdowns.
• Ability to work eight-hour shifts, 12-hour shifts, day or night shift, or other work schedules as determined by business need, including overtime as required.
