Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled Procurement Professional - Third Party Logistics to join our Global Procurement team.
Requirements
- Develop and execute global transportation sourcing strategies across parcel, 3PL, LTL/FTL, intermodal, ocean, air, brokerage, and last-mile, translating enterprise strategy into regional execution plans.
- Lead competitive sourcing events (RFPs/RFQs), carrier and 3PL evaluations, network optimization initiatives, and award decisions to deliver year-over-year savings and working-capital benefits.
- Negotiate and structure complex transportation contracts, including MSAs, rate agreements, fuel mechanisms, accessorials, SLAs, KPIs, and liability terms aligned with operational realities.
- Manage carrier, broker, and 3PL performance, using scorecards, QBRs, and performance guardrails to ensure service, cost, and compliance outcomes are realized in the P&L.
- Analyze freight markets and cost drivers, acting as a market “sensor” to provide pricing, capacity, and risk insights to leadership.
- Partner cross-functionally with regional operations and stakeholders to balance cost, service, compliance, and risk across a global or multi-region transportation network.
