Job Description
We're looking for an Outside Plant Engineer to join our rapidly growing team at IQ Fiber. The role involves collaborating with Construction Coordinators and Fiber Splicers to activate OLT cabinets and provide expert assistance at co-location facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Comprehensive knowledge of network architecture, troubleshooting methods, splicing techniques, required documentation, and end-to-end processes
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficient knowledge of optical networks and FTTH architecture
- Expertise with switches, routers, and OLTs
- Available for after-hours, weekend, and emergency work
- Must pass pre-employment background screening and driver's record check
