Director, Outside Plant Engineering

IQ Fiber is seeking an energetic and collaborative Director of Outside Plant Engineering to develop plans for new plant design, engineering, and construction of a Fiber-to-the-Premise (FTTP) network. This role focuses on managing construction, maintaining infrastructure, building relationships with municipalities, and ensuring quality while controlling expenses. The position requires a strong understanding of network engineering and splicing techniques.

Requirements

• Manage field survey and installation of FTTP construction.
• Costing of FTTP and managing MDU and Commercial property.
• Manage FTTP construction and oversee splicing, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Lead a team of supervisors, technicians, engineers, locators, and construction technicians.
• Manage system performance and customer support.
• Enforce compliance with regulations and safety standards.
