As Category Manager, you are responsible for the purchasing procedures related to ICT Software within the Purchasing Department of Infrabel.
Requirements
- Maintaining a network of internal customers within each department of Infrabel
- Working closely with the ICT department to support the rapid and constant evolution of the business model and align strategies with technological needs
- Determining the most suitable purchasing strategy based on the needs of the company and the market
- Researching the market, building a network of suppliers, and identifying daily opportunities
- Negotiating with suppliers to obtain an optimal price-quality ratio and defending the interests of Infrabel
- Organizing the assignment of public procurement contracts
- Supervising the execution of contracts to ensure that the end-user receives the products within the agreed-upon timeframes and in accordance with the required quality standards
- Ensuring that the rules for public procurement contracts, internal processes, and CSR goals are respected
- Identifying improvement opportunities in purchasing procedures with internal customers and specialists, and implementing them
- Leading a team of 3 buyers and providing them with support
- Contributing to the establishment of KPIs for monitoring purchasing activities
