Job Description
IU Health is seeking a dedicated Master’s-Level Licensed Counselor (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC, or HSPP) to provide expert outpatient mental health services at Gateway Plaza. The role focuses on individual, family, and group therapy, as well as discharge planning and crisis intervention, and involves collaboration with healthcare teams to provide patient-centered care. Applicants should have 3-5 years of relevant experience and a passion for delivering mental health services.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health field
- 3-5 years of relevant healthcare, mental health, or community experience preferred
- Current Indiana license as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC, or HSPP
- CPR/BLS certification (required within 90 days of hire)
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Deep understanding of disease impact, human behavior, and psychosocial assessment techniques
- Proficiency in evidence-based practices (CBT, MI, DBT)
- Knowledge of legal mandates for child and adult protective services
- Principles of growth and development across the lifespan
