Behavioral Health - Counselor (MS Licensed)

Indiana University Health is seeking a dedicated Master’s-Level Licensed Counselor (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC, or HSPP) to provide expert outpatient mental health services at Gateway Plaza. The role focuses on individual, family, and group therapy, discharge planning, and crisis intervention, with a goal of fostering positive patient outcomes and coordinating resources. The position requires a passion for patient-centered care and experience in collaborating with various healthcare teams.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• 3-5 years of relevant healthcare, mental health, or community experience (preferred).
• Current Indiana license as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC, or HSPP.
• Current in-state background check (within 90 days of hire).
• BLS certification (within 30 days of hire).
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices (CBT, MI, DBT).
• Knowledge of child and adult protective services regulations.
