Included Health is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Revenue Accountant to take ownership of complex contract order management, collaborate with stakeholders spread across the organization, and the accurate application of the Company's revenue recognition policies.
Requirements
- Take ownership of complex contract order management and the set up of related deals in Workday.
- Manage the system setup of all sales contracts within relevant business systems (usage, subscription, and amendment levels) to ensure completeness and accuracy throughout the monthly and quarterly close process.
- Collaborate with business partners (Accounting, IT, FP&A, and Engineering) to initiate and implement process improvements to the quote-to-cash process to increase operational efficiencies while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the underlying accounting records.
- Apply, enforce, and execute the Company's revenue recognition policy as it relates to the performance of revenue accounting.
- Establish controls necessary to ensure that revenue forecasts, deferred revenue balances, and revenue accounting execution are compliant with company policy and GAAP.
- Provide audit support for control and substantive testing and prepare schedules requested by internal and external auditors.
- Participate in the month- and quarter-end close process and related responsibilities for the accounting department including leading close activities by preparing journal entries, maintaining account reconciliations, and ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Create and publish metrics to capture, control and report Revenue Operations team effectiveness.
- Streamline systems and reporting tools to ensure efficient and accurate recording and proper classification of revenue.
- Participate in systems upgrades and enhancements as necessary.
- Ad Hoc reporting and project lead/engagement.
