Job Description
IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Casual Banqueting Commis Chef passionate about presentation and dedication to high standards. The role involves assisting in the preparation and production of dishes in a variety of outlets, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and contributing to menu development. The Commis Chef will work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with other kitchen staff.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a professional kitchen
- Proven ability to manage a section independently or with minimal supervision
- Passion for food, quality, and continuous learning
- Ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
