Job Description
IDL Projects Inc. is seeking a Carpenter Foreman to lead carpentry crews on building construction projects. This is a leadership role ideal for an experienced Journeyman Carpenter with technical skills and a passion for mentorship. The position requires coordination, supervision, and adherence to safety standards. The role involves both on-site carpentry and coordination with the Site Superintendent and Project Manager.
Requirements
- Lead and supervise a carpentry crew on building construction projects.
- Coordinate daily work activities, ensuring timelines and safety.
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure work meets building codes and IDL standards.
- Promote a strong safety culture.
- Provide training to apprentices and less experienced crew members.
- Coordinate material deliveries, inventory, and equipment usage.
