Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at GAST Manufacturing in Benton Harbor, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of skilled trades experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. The position involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment, as well as maintaining the building and facilities in a cost and energy efficient manner.

Requirements

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery
• Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions
• Study blueprints and schematics to determine installation procedures
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
• Maintain equipment logs
• Cross train with other maintenance personnel
• Interface with members of other departments and outside vendors
