Requirements
- Direct day to day activities of Maintenance Technicians
- Communicate with production teams and plant management to sustain the highest level of operational efficiency
- Monitor equipment operations to ensure that preventive maintenance schedules are adequate and preventive maintenance is being performed proficiently and according to schedule
- Monitor inventory of parts and supplies; requisition/order parts and supplies as needed
- Recommend equipment upgrades, improvements and/or new purchases
- Assist maintenance technicians with interpreting specifications, blueprints and work orders and oversee all troubleshooting and repair of equipment failures
- Support contract maintenance/installation work by outside vendors
- Maintain all business-critical records, documents and blueprints for maintenance assets as well as all associated documentation relating to all production equipment and ancillary systems
- Drive a maintenance culture that is focused on continuous improvement, positive morale and exceptional levels of customer service
- Supervise the activities of the maintenance department employees to assure that each is properly instructed in the performance of their work and the quantity and quality of work
