Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join a new physical therapy provider in Colombia. The role involves leading the development of backend systems, architecting scalable solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a full-time, fully remote position with competitive benefits.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- 4+ years of production-level Ruby on Rails experience
- Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and background job processing (Sidekiq, Resque, or similar)
- Strong understanding of API design, RESTful services, and performance optimization
- Comfort with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Experience working on distributed teams and collaborating asynchronously
- Excellent communication skills in English
