Job Description
The Field Operations Section (FOS) is seeking a Part-time ICAO Roster-Air Law Expert to assist in the development of civil aviation projects. The expert will study existing aviation law, advise on amending legislation, and provide on-the-job training. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in a national civil aviation authority legal department, airline, or similar organization.
Requirements
- University degree in law with specialization and advanced qualification in air law
- At least 10 years' experience at senior level in a national civil aviation authority legal department, an airline or similar aviation-related organization
- At least 3 years' experience in drafting legislation for a civil aviation authority in areas of personnel licensing, flight operations approval and surveillance, and continuing airworthiness
- Experience in reviewing detailed regulations relating to personnel licensing, flight operations, and continuing airworthiness
- Familiarity with ICAO Annexes, Conventions, and related acts
