Job Description
The Mobile Unit Driver/HIV Tester is responsible for implementing and evaluating the Hyacinth Testing program. This role involves driving large vehicles, reaching vulnerable communities, providing HIV testing and counseling, and maintaining client records. The position requires a commitment to the Hyacinth philosophy and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- Ability to work during non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends
- Experience driving large vehicles including trucks/buses
- Familiarity with Northern/Central NJ and identifying potential testing locations
- Community outreach in diverse communities
- Completion of required NJDOH trainings and HIV testing/counseling certification
- HIV/STI testing as needed
