Job Description
The Journeyman Power Shop Mechanic is responsible for the service and repair of all vehicles and heavy equipment with a special emphasis on RTG's for all Stevedore/Terminal operations in a timely efficient manner. The position requires troubleshooting and repair of all types of power equipment, maintaining a safe work area, and adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Two years of related schooling or seven years of applicable experience
- Selected candidate will be required to be a member of the IAM Union and will be governed by the applicable bargaining unit agreement
- Must have current EPA cards and field related tools
- Obtain and Maintain TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card) issued by the Department of Homeland Security
- Valid US Driver's License
