Job Description
The Automation Maintenance Technician II performs intermediate diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to molding/production machines and related equipment. Demonstrates behavior that is consistent with the company’s values of Customer Satisfaction, Innovation, Family, and Social Responsibility.
Requirements
- Performs machine start-up, setup, and changeovers.
- Moves machines and installs redesigned parts and systems to molding and assembly machines.
- Documents equipment repairs and maintenance performed to machinery and associated equipment, utilizing correct documentation procedures.
- Seeks to improve own skill level by participating in apprenticeship program, taking job-related courses, and attending technical seminars.
- Assists in generating and implementing maintenance procedures for molding and assembly machines and related equipment.
- Submits suggestions for electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic performance-improving modifications to molding and assembly machines and related equipment.
