Registered Practical Nurse Nursing Resource Team

Humber River Health is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to join their Nursing Resource Team, located in Greater Toronto. The role involves providing Registered Practical Nurse duties in Medical and Surgical Inpatient Units, focusing on community connection and utilizing technology to improve patient care. The company is a digital hospital and a community academic hospital committed to quality patient care and staff engagement.

Requirements

• Graduate from a recognized Registered Practical Nursing two-year diploma program.
• Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current BCLS certification or demonstrated competency.
• Minimum 1 year acute medical/surgical experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience working with the Nurse Resource Team.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrate adherence to the hospital’s code of conduct.
• Demonstrate competency in a variety of skills including (but not limited to), intramuscular injections, intravenous therapy initiation and discontinuation, Blood Transfusion, Wound Care Dressing, Medication Administration, etc.
• Basic computer skills and Meditech experience is an asset.
