Optical Network Engineer

The Optical Network Engineer will support software upgrades for NE and ASON operations, conduct complete analyses and pre-checks before executing operations and post-checks after. This role involves handling customer network issues, escalating problems to HQ, and maintaining project delivery using internal tools. The role requires strong communication and teamwork skills and a willingness to work long hours.

Requirements

• University degree in engineering or Bachelor of Science fields (electric electronic engineering, electronic and communication engineering, physics and physics engineering)
• At least 1-3 years telecommunication sector experience
• At least 2 years experience on transmission devices (SDH, WDM)
• Knowledge of Huawei transmission systems is a plus
• Knowledge of NMS is preferred
• Ability to produce and present concise reports
• Ability to provide guidance to customer
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Willingness to work long hours
• B Class driving license is a plus
