HealthRIGHT 360 is seeking a full-time Clinical Therapist to join their AARS Youth Mental Health Program. The Clinical Therapist will provide individual and group therapy, case management, and crisis intervention to youth with mental health needs. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in counseling or a related field and current registration with the Behavioral Board of Sciences (BBS).
Requirements
- Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Current registration with Behavioral Board of Sciences (BBS)
- Desired: Licensed by the Board of Behavioral Sciences or registered with BBS
- Knowledge and experience with Medi-CAL documentation standards
- Knowledge of substance abuse recovery principles and resources; including co-occurring disorders
- Experience working with criminal justice population
- Experience working within the Santa Clara County –Department of Behavioral Health Services system
- Knowledge of mental health and trauma informed treatment
- Knowledge of cultural stigmas of counseling and treatment services
- Knowledge of principles and techniques of the healing arts, case management, crisis intervention, client centered counseling, and group facilitation
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word Outlook and internet applications
- Verbal and written skills in one of the County's threshold languages, including Spanish, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Mandarin/Cantonese
