The Produce Manager is responsible for achieving desired gross profit, productivity, and sales projections, as well as managing daily work assignments and personnel issues in the produce department.
Requirements
- Achieve desired gross profit

- Project sales and product movement
- Order product according to established guidelines
- Follow established guidelines in personnel issues
- Prepare weekly work schedules
- Stock and straighten merchandise and supplies
- Rotate merchandise according to anticipated shelf life
- Perform basic housekeeping duties
- Maintain coolers and cases at appropriate temperatures
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
