NIGHT MANAGER

The Night Manager is responsible for achieving desired gross profit, productivity, and sales projections, while managing staff, cash and payment systems, merchandise and stock, and health and safety systems. They must also continuously develop knowledge about competitor activity and contribute to company strategy and policy-making.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Achieves desired gross profit
• Achieves desired level of productivity
• Manage and motivate staff
• Manage cash and payment systems
• Manage merchandise and stock
• Manage health and safety systems
• Seek and develop knowledge about competitor activity
• Attend meetings and contribute to company strategy and policy-making
• Establishes daily work assignments and priorities for store employees
• Receives and unloads truck deliveries
• Conducts store closing procedures
• Performs basic housekeeping duties
• Ability to lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds
• Follow established guidelines for completion of all required forms, records, reports, and verify receipts
• May order merchandise and supplies
• Standing for extended periods of time to perform job functions
• Develop personal skills and capability through on-going training
