Provide specialist technical support and product expertise to customers, distributors and internal team in the UK and internationally in relation to Kentec's fire detection and alarm control products.
Requirements
- Provide technical support via telephone, email, and other communication channels to customers, distributors, engineers, and internal staff.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues relating to fire detection and alarm control systems.
- Offer guidance on installation, commissioning, configuration, and maintenance of Kentec products.
- Support overseas partners and customers, taking account of different regulatory and operational requirements.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation, manuals, FAQs, and knowledge base materials.
- Ensure compliance with relevant fire safety standards, industry regulations, and quality requirements.
- To log calls onto the call logging system (CRM).
- To liaise with and support the Hochiki Global Technical Support Team.
- To report any problems related to the product or documentation gained from technical support correspondence.
- To assist in the validation of new Kentec products, to ensure they meet customer requirements.
- To assist in the preparation and verification of technical documentation for Kentec products.
- To keep up to date with current technologies in the fire industry.
- Ensure compliance with relevant fire safety standards, industry regulations, and quality requirements.
- To provide suggestions and ideas for new products or enhancements to current products.
