Job Description
Hexion is seeking a Process Engineer - Commissioning & Startup to play a key role in the installation, optimization, and support of SMARTECH's automated process systems for the engineered wood industry.
Requirements
- Participate in system commissioning and startup activities
- Diagnose and resolve process and mechanical issues
- Conduct performance evaluations and propose improvements
- Collaborate with automation engineers to optimize control logic
- Document process configurations, operating procedures, and maintenance standards
- Develop and improve preventive maintenance procedures
- Train customer operators and maintenance teams
- Support field teams and project managers
- Prepare detailed commissioning and troubleshooting reports
- Contribute to design reviews and provide field feedback
