Job Description
Hexion is seeking a Chemical Operator to work as part of a team to produce quality products and ensure safe and environmentally-sound manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have 2 years' experience in an industrial environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot issues with equipment.
Requirements
- 2 years' experience in an industrial environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to perform mathematical operations quickly and accurately
- Troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to use a computer effectively with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, manufacturer’s literature, diagrams or schematics
- Safety focus in prior jobs
- High School Diploma or GED required
