Certified Athletic Trainer

The Certified Athletic Trainer works under the direction of the Chief Athletic Trainer and Director of Physical Therapy to provide athletic training services for Henry County Sports Medicine, assessing and evaluating treatment protocols for patients with athletic-related injuries.

Requirements

• Specialized knowledge of assessment and administration of preventive and treatment aspects of athletic activity-related injuries
• Sound judgment in administration of duties
• Baccalaureate degree from an institution of higher education that meets academic standards for athletic trainers established by NATA
• NATA certification
• One-year experience as practicing Certified Athletic Trainer (preferred)
• Experience in on-site assessment of athletic injuries (preferred)
