The Ambulatory Care Network (ACN) is a department within the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (DHS) committed to providing world-class, compassionate health care. The ACN Patient Access Center helps align and simplify patient access services.

Requirements

• Interact with patients via phone using call center software
• Determine when language interpretation is needed and utilize interpreter services
• Request demographic information to assure proper identification of caller
• Schedule appointments to ACN facilities according to guidelines
• Orient patients by providing direction to appropriate locations and/or services
• Review insurance verification for specific health plans and follow all standardized workflows
