Job Description
The Nutrition Aide will prepare cold items for patient meals, deliver patient meals, clean food and supplies, and assist with kitchen tasks. They will ensure menu options meet prescribed guidelines and assist in maintaining food safety and quality. Communication with the cook and team is essential.
Requirements
- Assist in the preparation of meals.
- Deliver patient meals following established service and safety guidelines.
- Retrieve, wash and store dishes following established guidelines.
- Complete assigned cleaning per schedule.
- Communicate with the cook, aides, and diet clerk in each position.
