Job Description
Headway is a mission-driven mental health care platform aiming to provide accessible therapy. They are building a network of therapists and connecting patients with providers. This role focuses on developing and scaling ranking and relevance models for a scalable and personalized healthcare experience, with leadership and mentorship as key components. They are seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to focus on matching patients with the right therapist.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in applied ML roles, with at least 1 year working on ranking, relevance, search, or recommender systems.
- Fluency in Python and experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, CatBoost, etc.).
- Ability to design and run A/B experiments and choose the right offline and online metrics.
- Comfort designing and running A/B experiments, focusing on product intuition and technical depth.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
