Job Description
Hays Electrical Services is seeking a highly experienced General Superintendent to support the Underground Department and oversee all field operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and technical expertise in underground utility work, with the ability to travel and manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in underground utility construction
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or superintendent role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously
- Deep knowledge of trenching, excavation, conduit installation, utility layouts, and field operations
- Strong understanding of OSHA and underground safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret underground electrical drawings, plans, and markups
- Comfortable using a tablet or mobile device for daily reports, updates, and documentation
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel daily between sites
