T&D Designer / Sr Designer - Maui

We are seeking a T&D Designer / Sr Designer to join our team at Hawaiian Electric Company in Kahului, Maui. The successful candidate will have a strong background in power engineering design, project engineering, and project management, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. The role involves designing and managing large customer service requests, 3rd party telecommunications attachment requests, and capital construction programs.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of power engineering design, project engineering, project management, design standards, and construction methods
• Ability to conceptualize new ideas quickly
• Ability to remain flexible in a demanding work environment and adapt to rapidly changing priorities
• Demonstrated in-depth analytical and administrative skills
• Must have or be able to qualify for a State of Hawaii driver's license
