Job Description
HARMAN is seeking an adventurous, passionate, and accomplished Industrial designer to join their design team in Shenzhen, China. The ideal candidate will have a world-class design sensibility, a love for music, and the ability to understand and translate the latest fashion, interior, and cultural design trends into iconic product experiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in industrial design with an impressive portfolio
- Experience in designing products for the consumer or professional markets
- Solid knowledge of the design process from trend research and design strategy to concept development and manufacturing execution
- Excellent 2D and 3D skills, fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and 3D tools
- Ability to create photorealistic renderings
- Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work seamlessly with leaders across functions
- Ability to multi-task many projects and products at once
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Industrial/Product design
- Basic knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling methods, and assembly methods
