Industrial Designer

The Harman design team is calling for Industrial Designer talents to redefine the future of entertainment with a focus on Industrial & Graphic Design, User Interface & Experience Design, Packaging, CMF, and Digital Design.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in industrial design with an impressive portfolio
• Experience in designing consumer products
• Basic knowledge and understanding of the design process from trend research and design strategy to concept development and manufacturing execution
• Excellent 2D and 3D skills: fluent in the Adobe Creative Suite and 3D such as Rhinoceros and KeyShot
• Experience defining Materials, Colors and Finishes
• Ability to create photorealistic renderings
• Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication and presentation skills
• Highly driven and proactive self-starter
• Ability to work seamlessly with leaders across functions
• Ability to multi-task many projects and products at once
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Industrial/Product design
• Love for Design & Music
• Basic knowledge and understanding of material cost and finishes, manufacturing processes, tooling methods and assembly methods
