Job Description
Join HARMAN as a Category Manager Electronics and develop, drive, and own the global category sourcing strategy and savings objectives for a certain area of Electronics. Lead supplier relationships, manage supplier negotiations, and drive supply base optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical related field
- Minimum 7 years of procurement experience
- Prior experience in automotive electronics including commodity sourcing and negotiating direct materials using strategic category management techniques
- Existing network within the automotive semiconductor industry
- Proven ability to lead and achieve cost, quality, and time-to-market commitments
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to collaborate with key work partners and maintain relationships at the working level
