Field Service Mechanical Technician

This position requires a Field Service Mechanical Technician to support installations and service calls at GROB's customer sites, with a strong focus on mechanical build and start-up of machine tool equipment.

Requirements

• Must respond quickly to customer installations or problems on short notice
• Assemble and start-up new CNC machines to GROB specifications
• Read and follow mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical prints/drawings
• Read and follow tool layouts and NC code (G-code, M-functions)
• Troubleshoot machine errors
• Ability to travel as required for business needs
• Strong math skills
• Willing to work overtime as needed
