Job Description
GSCY is seeking motivated Counselors for Before and After School programs at Somerset Hills YMCA, located in Somerset County, NJ. The role offers on-site work during a specific shift schedule (7am-9am) and involves supporting children, promoting youth development, and fostering a sense of social responsibility. GSCY is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening communities and serving diverse populations.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must have High School Diploma or be a Senior in High School.
- Must have experience working with children in a structured group setting.
- Must have ability to learn and think quickly to solve child-to-child situations.
- Good communication skills and ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people.
- Ability to work 7am-9am Monday-Friday.
