Greater Somerset County YMCA is a nonprofit community organization that offers a wide range of youth development, fitness, and wellness programs across seven locations in Somerset County, New Jersey. The Y provides childcare, sports, swim lessons, personal training, and community outreach services to support families, teens, adults, and seniors, fostering health, education, and social connection.

Aquatics Coordinator
18 years old, CPR certification, lifeguard certification, physical and mental readiness
Lifeguard
Must be 15+ years old, have CPR, AED, Basic First Aid and Emergency Oxygen certifications, and be able to maintain lifeguard skills
SACC Counselor - Before Care
High school diploma/GED & 16+ years of age. Experience working with children. Must be able to quickly adapt and solve problems with kids
SACC -Before & Afterschool Counselor Montgomery Schools
16+ years of age required. Experience with school-aged children is preferred. Must be adaptable and able to work independently, collaboratively, and flexibly
Sports Instructor
18+ years of age; experience w/ children 2-12. Must have strong communication & teamwork skills. CPR/First Aid certification preferred
Adaptive Programming Coordinator
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with special needs. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Experience with individuals with developmental/behavioral disabilities preferred
2025 - 2026 School Year Before and After School Counselors - PT
High School Diploma/Senior & experience working with children. Quick thinking & communication skills. Must be 17+
2025 - 2026 Before/After School Site Supervisor - PT
Must be 21+, possess an Associate's degree or 2+ years of experience with children 5-12. Experience in structured group settings is required
Part Time Teacher's Assistants
High school diploma and 1 year of child-directed experience. Knowledge of child development principles is preferred. Full-year availability required
SACC Counselor
16+ age, high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to learn and solve problems with children. Strong communication skills required
