An exciting opportunity to join the team of a progressive YMCA located in vibrant Somerset County, New Jersey. The YMCA is one of the nation’s leading nonprofit organizations dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Associate Program Director will be responsible for managing activities associated with our School Age Child Care, Summer Camp and Youth Sports Program at the Franklin YMCA.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred
- Two to three years related experience preferred, as a coordinator or supervisor of child care programs
- Working knowledge of the State of NJ Department of Children and Families Office of Licensing preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Ability to operate general office equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
