Maintenance Technician

Great Northern is a local, privately owned paper-based packaging manufacturer with a long history of providing secure, stable, and meaningful positions. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical repairs, maintenance and preventative maintenance to all production and facility equipment.

Requirements

• Basic electrical experience is required
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motors and drives, PLC, and instrumentation and process controls
• Ability to perform predictive and preventative repairs of all equipment
• Ability to inspect and ensure that all operating machines and equipment conform to electrical and mechanical operational quality standards
• Ability to assist with the implementation of new methods and procedures to improve operations and minimize operating costs
• Ability to work safely and follow lock out/tag out practices and procedures
