Industrial Paint Manager - Fabrication Shop

Great Basin Industrial is hiring an experienced Industrial Paint Manager for their Fabrication Shop in Plymouth, Utah. The role involves painting and blasting steel structures, estimating materials, maintaining equipment, and supervising a team to ensure efficient production operations. The position is hourly-based and schedule is Varies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an industrial painter/blaster
• Thorough knowledge of use with Epoxy and Urethane industrial Coatings
• Ability to read paint PDS sheets
• Ability to apply coatings at specified DFT requirements
• Ability to mix 2 part epoxy and urethane coatings
• Working knowledge of blast sand pots, valves, airless paint pumps, and conventional paint equipment
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in using inspection tools
• Ability to monitor and record environmental conditions
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Forklift, overhead crane, and aerial lift certification preferred
• Computer skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
