Job Description
Great Basin Industrial is seeking a dedicated and experienced Industrial Paint Manager for their Fabrication Shop in Plymouth, Utah. The role involves working with blasting equipment, conventional spraying, and estimation. The position requires a safety-oriented individual with prior experience in industrial painting and supervision of production.
Requirements
- Performing painting and blasting on industrial steel structures
- Estimating paint and blasting materials
- Ordering paint/blasting materials
- Maintaining painting, blasting, and inspection equipment
- Supervising and coordinating daily tasks
- Training, mentoring, and motivating paint/blast staff
- Ensuring safety regulations
- Working from heights
- Reading paint PDS sheets
- Applying coatings at specified DFT requirements
- Mixing epoxy and urethane coatings
- Monitoring environmental conditions
- Reading blueprints and drawings
- Using inspection tools
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
