System Engineer (Germany)

Gramian Consultancy is seeking an experienced System Engineer to join their IT Infrastructure team based in Düsseldorf, Germany. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s hybrid IT environment, ensuring system availability, performance, and security, and driving infrastructure modernization across European sites. The position offers a mix of technical and leadership responsibilities.

Requirements

• Design, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Administer Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Azure AD.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Nutanix).
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability configurations.
• Resolve Tier 2/3 escalations for complex O365, network, or server issues.
• Apply security patches and vulnerability remediations.
• Enforce Zero Trust principles and network segmentation.
