Job Description
Global Engineering & Technology (GET) is seeking a Nuclear Weapons Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Department of Energy's Office of Classification in Germantown, Maryland. This 100% on-site position involves conducting classification review and analysis of government material related to nuclear weapons, including design, development, and deployment. Relocation support is provided.
Requirements
- Active DOE Q clearance or Active DoD Top Secret clearance
- Five (5) years' total field experience working in one or more of the nuclear-related subject areas.
- Comprehensive knowledge of thermonuclear weapon construction.
- Familiarity with classification and sensitive information activities
- Military assignments/positions involving use of weapons science/engineering/simulation.
- Specialized nuclear weapon design/science/engineering training
