Job Description
This compounder position involves setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment used to process ingredients in food manufacturing. Responsibilities include measuring, weighing, mixing, blending, and transferring ingredients. Supervision responsibilities are minimized; this is an entry-level position.
Requirements
- Mix, measure, and weigh ingredients
- Set up and operate equipment that mixes or blends ingredients
- Read and follow production schedules and customer orders
- Record materials, amounts of items, and quantities distributed
- Weigh or count items for distribution
- Operate forklift and other conveyance equipment
- Read and maintain inventory records
