Job Description
Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana is seeking a passionate Program Leader for their Camp Greene Wood day camp. This role involves supervising campers and counselors, leading creative activities (Arts & Crafts), and ensuring a safe and positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages and be a strong advocate for girls' education.
Requirements
- Loves to interact with children and has prior experience working with children of various ages
- Enjoys spending time outdoors and has prior experience working in an outdoor setting
- Must be 20+ years old, as of June 14, 2026 and possess a high school diploma or GED
- Willingness to work in an indoor and outdoor camp setting, which includes working irregular hours with limited or simple equipment, rustic facilities, wildlife and insects; limited technology while at camp, and daily exposure to sun, rain, and other weather conditions
