Job Description
Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana is seeking a summer Program Leader for Camp Greene Wood, a day camp for girls ages 5-17. This position involves supervising campers and counselors, implementing progressive learning experiences, and providing a safe, positive environment. The role requires a passion for working with children and a commitment to leadership training. Weekly schedules typically include weekdays and weekends.
Requirements
- Loves to interact with children
- Enjoys spending time outdoors
- 20+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED (21+ preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience working with children
- Willingness to work in various camp settings and time constraints
