Job Description
Camp Nurse provides daily, weekly, and on-call healthcare services to Girl Scouts of Colorado (GSCO) campers. This seasonal position involves working with campers and the camp team to ensure the highest quality of service, including medication administration and health record management. The role emphasizes compassion, professionalism, and adherence to safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Current Colorado state license in health care (minimum of RN).
- Current BLS certification.
- Willingness to obtain an ORM instructor qualification.
- Willingness to obtain a Medication Administration/QMAP instructor qualification.
- Current/willingness to obtain Child Abuse and Mandatory Reporting certification.
- Experience within the health care industry.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
- Experience with crisis management.
- Valid driver's license and 5+ years of driving experience.
- Ability to live on-site during the camp season.
