Camp Nurse

Camp Nurse is responsible for the daily health care services provided at a Girl Scouts of Colorado (GSCO) camp property. This on-site role involves providing medical, emergency, and general health care, medication administration, and ensuring camper well-being. The position reports to the Executive Director and requires collaboration with camp staff, student leaders, and health services.

Requirements

• Current Colorado state license in health care
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to obtain a medication administration/QMAP instructor qualification
• Current or willingness to obtain a Child Abuse Mandated Reporter and Universal Standard Precautions certification
• Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience within the health care industry
• Flexible and adaptable dealing with changing situations and procedures
• Experience within crisis management
• Valid driver's license
