Job Description
Gigamon is seeking a Principal Hardware Engineer to perform board-level circuit design, bring-up and validation, and coordinate JDM/ODM/OEM projects. The role involves working in a fast-paced, dynamic team, contributing to the design of new products and supporting existing ones. Gigamon offers over 90 technology patents and serves more than 4,000 organizations.
Requirements
- Help define high-level system design specifications.
- Create HW functional specifications
- Board-level digital circuit design, bring-up, and validation
- CPLD/glue logic coding
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering and system assembly
- Understand optical communications technologies
- Design new products and support existing ones
- Support and coordinate prototype builds and validation
